We work with local groups and neighborhoods.
We do fun and educational events, such as guided walking tours, workshops on Saturday mornings, dinners in old houses, and all-day fairs with lots of presentations and exhibitors.
We do serious business, too, by bringing attention to houses scheduled for demolition and neighborhoods trying to protect themselves from unsympathetic development.
We offer lots of resources and reference material, and a section on old-houses for sale.

Lots of volunteer opportunities are available. We recognize all volunteer efforts and present awards to those who have done an exceptional job in educating home owners, protecting neighborhoods and a grand award for an extraordinary job in elevating the perception and preservation of old houses and neighborhoods.

Members of Denver's Old House Society are special people. They are old house lovers, value Denver's beloved old neighborhoods, and cherish Denver's history.
Part of the appeal of Denver's Old House Society is the opportunity to get to know other old-house lovers and find out their tips for maintaining and restoring their old homes.
A new membership benefit is called the “Bricks and Mortar Club,” an informal gathering to get to know fellow old house owners and swap stories about the unique challenges and triumphs of old house living.
